Session 1 outlines the structure of the Safety 7 - Department Manager training and defines the role of the Department Manager as a Safety Leader.

Safety 7 - Session 2

Session 2 teaches the user why injury prevention is important. The user will learn about the most common types of workplace injuries and what needs to be done to prevent them.

Session 3 explains what hazards really are, what types we see in our daily work, and how you overcome barriers to missing hazards that are common in the workplace.

The learner will understand how using Safety Conversations effectively can help influence associates to work safely and avoid injuries.

Session 5 teaches the user the important role of investigating injuries and how injuries can be prevented as a result of effective investigations.

Session 6 teaches the learner how Tops measures safety and how using safety metrics can help impact daily decisions to keep associates & customers safe.

Session 7 briefly reviews all sessions and identifies what Department Managers should use routinely to implement and maintain an effective safety culture.
